DHG 4000 horizontal grinders are built tough and offered in a variety of configurations to suit large land-clearing, municipal waste and composting operations. Engineered with a robust steel frame, high-torque diesel engine (50-300 HP options), and precision-cutting blades, this machine effortlessly processes large logs, branches, and wood waste into uniform chips (30-80 mm) at capacities up to 100 tons per hour.

POWERFUL FEEDING. With a feed opening of 60 in x 30 –in (152.4 cm x 76.2) and robust infeed sidewalls that are double the strength of its predecessor, you can feed whole trees and other large material with less restriction. The machine sidewalls also provide optimal flow of material and minimize operator interaction.

OPTIMAL CUTTING PERFORMANCE. The Series III hardfaced patented duplex drum has increased life with enhancements such as an independently secured wedge system and enhanced drum balancing.
